Can you believe the month of October is already here? This month will bring a lot of different and fun lessons. We will start the month off learning about fire safety. There are a couple of really fun lessons that get the students moving and learning how to stay safe in case of a fire. We will then move on to our first round of Fitness Testing. We do this in the Fall and then again in the Spring. We have 4 fitness tests. There is: Pacer, Sit and Reach, Flexed Arm Hang and Curl Ups. After that we will move on to our health and food group unit to remind us how to remain healthy during the upcoming holiday season. We hope everyone is getting outside and playing. Our days are becoming limited outside. Now that the bees are calming down we will be trying to get outside for a few lessons. Remember: PE is a break from your classroom, but it is still a class!

PE Rules and Guidelines
- Please always remember to wear gym shoes that have shoe laces or straps.
- Participation is apart of your grade. No one is perfect at anything, please make sure you are trying your best at everything.
- If you need your child to sit out of PE, please make sure you send them with a note. After 2 days they will need a doctors note to sit out
- If your child is sitting out they will be asked to do a sideline activity to earn their grade for the day.
